B+S unveils cutting-edge new facility

Bausch+Ströbel, a special machinery manufacturer based in Ilshofen, Germany, has been operating a subsidiary in the USA since the 1980s. Now, its US presence has been greatly enhanced, with the recent inauguration of a cutting-edge new facility.

A large delegation of prominent U.S. Congress members, as well as elected officials from the state of Connecticut and the town of Branford, recently set the stage for the opening of the company's new headquarters in Branford, Connecticut, not far from the former Bausch+Ströbel US headquarters in the neighboring community of North Branford.

Bausch+Ströbel began operations in Clinton, Connecticut, in 1983 and moved to North Branford in 2007, where the company currently employs 40 people. 2023 sees the company expanding its footprint with a new corporate building covering nearly 6,500 square meters.

The multi-million dollar investment underlines Bausch+Ströbel's commitment, emphasized General Manager Oliver Schmidt at the opening ceremony. "We look forward to many more years of growth here," Schmidt stated, "as our customer base continues to expand."

Attendees included Senator Christine Cohen, from Connecticut, who lauded the facility and the company's innovative approach.
